We think AI should have to prove its work.

Most AI tools for infrastructure stop at giving instructions — they tell a person what to run and trust them to run it, verify it, and clean up if it goes wrong. We think that’s backwards for the kind of work operations teams actually deal with: broken pipelines, noisy alerts, undersized resources, and changes that need to happen correctly the first time.

Changefy is built around a simple sequence: investigate before proposing anything, plan with an explicit risk profile, require human authorization before anything runs, execute only what was approved, and verify the outcome against the real system — not against what the model thinks happened. Every step leaves a record.

We’re a small team building this because we’ve spent years on the other end of it — paged at 2am for something an automated script quietly broke, or waiting on a change ticket for a fix that should have taken minutes. We think the right amount of AI autonomy in operations is “a lot, as long as a human is still the one who says go.”
