Changefy Research — State of Governed AI Operations 2026Read it
Changefy

PRODUCT

An AI operations engineer, not a chat window.

Changefy takes a natural-language request, investigates the systems involved, plans the work, waits for a human to authorize it, executes it, and proves the outcome. It is not a ticketing tool, and it is not a copilot that stops at giving instructions.

Frequently asked

Is Changefy a chatbot or copilot?
No. A copilot tells you what it thinks the problem is and stops. Changefy investigates real infrastructure state, drafts an executable plan, waits for human authorization, executes the approved plan directly against your systems, and verifies the result.
Does Changefy replace our ITSM tool?
No — Changefy connects to tools like ServiceNow and Jira rather than replacing them. Those remain your organization's system of record; Changefy is the thing that investigates and executes the underlying operational work.
What stops Changefy from making an unauthorized change?
A deterministic policy engine, not the model's judgement, decides whether a plan requires approval, and execution only ever runs what a human explicitly authorized. If reality deviates from the approved plan mid-execution, Changefy stops rather than improvising.
How does Changefy know a fix actually worked?
Verification is a separate stage that re-checks the target system's real state — logs, metrics, health checks — independent of Changefy's own execution log. An agent reporting success is not treated as proof.
Does Changefy only handle incidents, or planned work too?
Both. The same investigate-plan-execute-verify workflow applies to scheduled, planned work — staged patching, credential rotation, capacity rollouts — as much as it does to incident response.
